Duplicate an ad set from the launch flow
Clone an ad set — targeting, budget and all — as a draft that is created when you publish.
Find the ad set to clone
In Launch Ads, select the campaign and locate the ad set in step 2 Ad sets.
Click the duplicate icon
Hover the row and click the copy icon (Duplicate ad set). A new row with the badge Draft appears, subtitled “Duplicate of an existing ad set — created at publish”.
Rename the draft
Click the pencil icon (Rename duplicate) on the draft, type the New ad set name, and click Save rename. Click the copy icon again to make further duplicates, or the trash icon (Delete draft) to discard one.
Select it as a target and publish
Drafts are selected like normal ad sets. When you click Publish ads, the duplicate is created in Meta first, then the creatives are published into it.
Good to know
- The duplicate copies the original’s targeting, placements, budget and schedule. Adjust those afterwards in Ads Manager if needed.
