Run partnership ads with a creator
Run a creator’s post as a co-branded ad with your own identity as sponsor, or tag your own creative with a creator.
Before you start
- A Facebook Page and, for Instagram, an Instagram account are set under Settings → Ad account → Identity setup.
- The creator has shared a partnership ad code or their post with you, or has granted your account Partnership Ads permission in Instagram.
Open the Partnership Ads source
In Launch Ads, step 3, click the dropzone and choose Partnership Ads.
Enter the creator’s post
Paste the post URL, the numeric post ID, or the partnership ad code the creator shared. A post URL or ID needs account-level access to their content; a partnership ad code works without it but is tied to that one post.
Choose your own identity
Under Second identity, pick the Facebook Page and Instagram profile that are tagged as the ad’s sponsor. They default to the identity set for the ad account.
Set destination and call to action
Enter the Destination URL and choose a Call to action. The post itself stays unchanged.
Pick the header identities and add the creative
Under Identities to display in the header, choose Dynamic identity, Both identities in the header or the first identity only, then add the creative. It joins the Creatives list and publishes with the rest of the batch.
Or tag one of your own creatives
On any uploaded creative, click the Add partnership icon and pick a creator who granted your account Partnership Ads permission. The ad publishes with your media and copy and the creator as primary identity, and shows the pill Co-branded with @creator.
Good to know
- Some newer Facebook share links cannot be read automatically — paste the numeric post ID instead.
- Add partnership is not available for creatives that reference a live post; there the partnership is part of the post itself.
- If the source reports a missing permission, reconnect Facebook so the Partnership Ads permission is granted.
