Setup checklist before your first launch
The five things to configure for each ad account so publishing works the first time.
Enable the ad accounts you want to use
Go to Settings → General → Ad accounts and tick the accounts pushmoreads may work in, then Save selection. Only enabled accounts appear in the sidebar account switcher. See Choose which ad accounts the app can use.
Set the Facebook Page (required)
Pick the ad account in the sidebar, open Settings → Ad account → Identity setup, choose a Facebook Page and click Save identity. Without a Page, the launcher shows “No Facebook Page set — publishing is blocked” and the Publish button stays disabled. See Set your Facebook Page and Instagram identity.
Choose the Instagram identity
In the same card, leave Instagram on “Use Facebook Page identity” or switch to “Dedicated Instagram account” and select the account. Needed if you want to turn Instagram posts into ads.
Add your EU advertising identity if you deliver in the EU
Fill in Beneficiary name (and optionally Payer name). Meta rejects EU delivery without it; the launcher will warn you and ask you to confirm with Publish anyway if it is empty.
Set tracking defaults
Open the Website URL & tracking card: select a Default pixel, enter your Website URL and UTM parameters, and optionally an Offline events set. Click Save tracking. See Configure tracking.
Decide on creative enhancements and naming
In Creative enhancements, all Advantage+ toggles are off by default — switch on what you want. In Auto naming, set a template such as
{{file}}_{{date}}and a date format. See Control Advantage+ enhancements and Set up automatic naming.Optional: save default ad copy
On the Ad Copy page, store the primary text, headlines, descriptions and call to action that should pre-fill every launch. See Set default ad copy.
Good to know
- Settings are per ad account. Repeat the checklist after switching to another account in the sidebar.
- Each settings card saves separately — look for the save status next to its button.
